Metro Harrisburg Fire Photos 2006
Friday, June 16, 2006 - Carlisle Borough - N. West St
At 0330 hours Carlisle Borough companies 40,41,42,43, and Mt. Holly Springs Engine 36 dispatched to the 500 block of N. West St for a house fire. Cumberland County Communications indicated multiple calls for the fire. Units arrived to a 2.5 story, occupied, private dwelling with heavy fire the second floor and roof in the rear. 30 minutes into the incident Command called for a 2nd alarm as fire continued to spread throughout the fire building and into a 2.5 story, occupied, private dwelling detached exposure. Evacuation tones were sounded and crews went to an exterior attack to extinguish the flames. Firefighters remained on the scene for over 3 hours performing overhaul.
