Metro Harrisburg Fire Photos 2006
Friday, January 13, 2006 - Susquehanna Township - Interstate 81
Around 1920 hours Harrisburg City Wagon 3 and Tower 2 dispatched to Interstate 81 southbound in the area of mile marker 67 for an accident with ejection. Wagon 4 was added due to Squad 8 being unavailable with updated reports of entrapment. Further reports indicated negative entrapment but Wagon 4 was advised to continue in as Wagon 3 took in a Task Force 2 fire alarm. During this time County units Engines 32 (Progress), 37-1, Rescue 37, and Squad 37 (Rescue) were assigned on the box due to the incident being in Susquehanna Township. Companies arrived to find a single vehicle that rolled several times and ejected the driver. Life Lion was requested and landed just south of the incident. Units cleared the scene in a little over half an hour.
