Harrisburg fire companies responded to this box alarm fire in the Uptown section. Box 1-3 toned around 1900 hours for a reported structure fire at 414 Woodbine Streets. Caller reported a fire on the first floor unknown if the occupants are still inside. Wagon 3 and Tower 2 on location with smoke showing from a 3 story, occupied, end of the row, dwelling and stretched a line through the front door. A small fire was quickly knocked and no extension was evident. Companies remained on the scene for about an hour before returning to quarters. This was the first "job" so to speak for the city using the new digital dispatch system. The was on its first day of operation in the city. Units on scene: Wagon 3, Squad 8, Towers 1,2, Chief 5 (Berger).
