Friday, August 13, 2010 - 247 Hummel Street - Box Alarm
At 0908 hours Harrisburg Box 1-4 companies responded to 247 Hummel Street for a house fire with multiple calls being received. Chief 4 (Hartman) on location with smoke showing from the 3rd floor of a vacant, three-story, brick, row home. A line was quickly stretched from Wagon 4 making quick work of a fire on the third floor. A second line was stretched but not charged. Units on scene: Wagon 4, Squad 8, Towers 1,3, Chiefs 1 and 5.
