Harrisburg Fire Photos 2008
Saturday, May 31, 2008 - 1617 Briggs Street - Box Alarm
Box 1-2 sent companies to 1617 Briggs Street at 2048 hours for a structure fire. Enroute companies were informed of multiple calls for fire in a row. Tower 1 arrived on location and reported a working fire. Wagon 4 laid in from 17th and Briggs Street and took Side A while the Squad arrived and covered the hydrant. Captain 3 (Shrauder) reported a 2 story, ordinary, duplex with fire in the basement. A line was stretched to the basement and once companies found the fire it was knocked quickly. Searches and extension were negative and the fire was placed under control at 2108 hours. Units on scene: Wagon 4, Squad 8, Towers 1,3, Captain 3, and Chief 2.
