At 1630 hours Task Force 2 and Chief 6 (Berger) sent to 1713 Regina Street in Allison Hill for a structure fire. Chief 6 reported a good thermal column enroute followed by heavy smoke 3rd floor of a 3 story, end of the row, dwelling. While companies were going to work Chief 6 reported that he had heavy fire in the rear on the second floor. A second alarm was struck for manpower bringing Wagon 3, Tower 3, and York Co Rescue 69 to the scene. Shortly after arrival Tower 3 and Wagon 3 were diverted to an accident with entrapment at 19th and Sycamore Streets. Companies cleared that scene in a few minutes. On Regina Street, firefighters were able to keep the fire from extending past the fire building, except some roof extension in the rear, and performed extensive overhaul. Units were out for 2 hours.
