Task Force 1 sent to 313 S. Front Street in the downtown area for a reported structure fire with possible entrapment at 1640 hours. The address was located almost directly to the rear of Station 6 allowing Tower 3 to arrive quickly with heavy smoke showing. All occupants were able to escape safely. An occupant on the third floor was led to safety via ground ladders by city firefighters. Crews had heavy fire on the first floor in the rear of an occupied, 3 story, brick, middle of the row, dwelling. Two hand lines were stretched and knocked down the bulk of the fire in about 10 minutes. Units on location: Squad 8, Wagon 4, Towers 1,3, Chiefs 1,2,3, and 7.
