Multiple handlines were stretched into the fire building and exposure knocking down the bulk of fire in about 15 minutes. Companies made a good stop on containing the fire primarily to the basement. D platoon members worked the job. Units on location: (1st alarm) Wagon 4, Squad 8, Tower 1, 2; (2nd alarm) Wagon 3, Tower 3, Rescue 69, Air 13, Chiefs 1,2,3. This was the second fire of the tour in the same duplex for city firefighters. Shortly before midnight on March 17, Task Force 2 crews were sent to 1328 State Street for smoke in a structure. Crews mad quick work of the fire, preventing further extension, and holding it to 1 alarm.
