Harrisburg Fire Photos 2005
January 22, 2005 - 1604 Zarker Street
As the first major snowstorm swept through the Harrisburg area, city firefighters were dispatched to 1604 Zarker Street in Allison Hill for a structure fire. Responding to the 1800 hours alarm were Wagon 4, Squad 8, Tower 1, and 3. First in units had heavy fire from the first floor of a 2-story middle of the row dwelling. A second alarm of Wagon 3, Tower 2, and Rescue 69 was dispatched as fire extended to both connecting exposures. Air 13 was special called to refill empty cylinders. No firefighters were injured despite a snow covered fire ground.
