Metro Harrisburg Fire Photos 2007
December 29 - Silver Spring Township - 238 N.
Locust Point Rd - 2 Alarms
Around 2030 hours Company 33 (New Kingstown) and
surrounding companies were dispatched to a garage fire at 238 N. Locust
Point Road. Companies arrived to a working fire in a large, metal
building that is used for making street sweepers and repair facility.
Due to the instability of the structure firefighters went to a defensive
attack. The fire went to 2 alarms bringing in companies from across
Cumberland County to the scene. Units were on scene for several hours as
the stubborn blaze sent smoke billowing over the area.
